  • For our players, the answer is yes. This year began an experiment in recovery and performance using compression garments of all types, from compression socks to compression sleeves. The results? Compression socks are your best option for leg support when recovering from a hard training session. After 25 times on the pitch, we found players with more leg and foot support recovered better for the next training session. We are currently negotiating with ComproGear to get compression socks for all players.

  • Annagh United players are starting on a new strength and conditioning regimen that is non sport specific. The specific regimen includes all aspects of lifestyle. Even nutrition has been changed. Our staff registered dietician will be going over strategies for weight reduction. Supplements are being upgraded, with most players being switched from a traditional once-daily multivitamin to a full spectrum of supplements. Conditioning will move from 1x per week to 3x per week. Since rest is such an important component, players are encouraged to get 8-10 hours of sleep each night. Even, some would call controversial, sexual wellness steps are being taken, including handing out the clit sucker rose suction toy that's popular on tiktok. We hope these new conditioning and lifestyle upgrades will support additional wins in the upcoming season.
