Weekend Preview .....
Annaghs senior panel head to the crisp surface of Newforge Lane tomorrow as they return to league action with a welcome return to the squad for Martin 'Doc' Hughes. Successive cup exits in recent weeks and derby day thumping on New Years Eve has put Johnstones side in an ideal situation to show they can bounce back. DJ will be aiming to take the positives from last weeks Intermediate Cup game at Banbridge and apply them across the park tomorrow against an often resiliant PSNI side, they played Blackers Mill last week in the cup emerging 4-1 victors but their league form has been hit and miss this season. With PSNI sitting in 12th place and Annagh in 3rd, both sides will settle for nothing less than a win in what is traditionally a fiesty affair!
Kick Off at Newforge Lane is 2.00pm.
The Reserves have opted to fill a weekend by getting another league fixture out of the way and will travel to Newry Reserves in the IFA Championship Reserve League. With the youth side at Annagh holding a total of 25 players, the Reserves should take a mixture of a side to face the South Down men. With no fixture played since the start of Decmber Kyle Rendall will be eager to get back to normal.
Kick Off at Newry is 2.00pm
Following their defeat of the Saints on Sunday, Keith and Kevin host Shorts Youth in the next round of the NI Cup. Annagh Under 17's only got the last round played on Sunday past and produced an inspired performance to cruise to a 5-1 victory. This seen them progress to the next round which takes place tomorrow in which they play against another Belfast side, Shorts.
Kick Off at The Annagh is at 11.00am
Good Luck to ALL our teams.
